Two runners, a stunning Catholic church, a lot of best friends, and a beautiful sunny Knoxville, TN day. This St. John Neumann Catholic Church and Abby Farm Wedding had all the ingredients for a perfect East Tennessee Catholic wedding. Laid-back weddings are the best. I love how Jaclyn and John focused first on the sacrament and marriage and then let the party come naturally.

Jaclyn grew up attending St. John Neumann in Farragut, TN and it was a perfect backdrop to their reverent Catholic wedding Mass.
She finished getting ready just steps from the aisle surrounded by her best friends and sisters while nerves and excitement were high. Everyone was either crying or laughing, the joy was contagious.

Catholic wedding masses are longer than typical wedding ceremonies with more traditions and liturgical celebration. Everything aims to direct the couple and their guests towards heaven. St. John Neumann is a stunning setting for weddings.

After Mass, we did some portraits around the church in a bit of a speed run so that the church could move to their next event.

We moved to The Abby Farm for their reception. Our couple got to hang out with guests, celebrate with family, and relax with barbecue.

We took some extra time for portraits surrounded by the rolling East TN hills. Golden hour and champagne, amirite? It’s the best way to end a wedding day!

This St. John Neumann Catholic Church and Abby Farm Wedding was a perfect example of why East Tennessee is one of my favorite areas to visit for weddings.
