Ambra and Tim had one of the penultimate Nashville Catholic weddings and nobody can change my mind. They included all the best things: getting ready on historic Music Row, a Nuptial Mass at St. Ann’s, and delicious food and drink at 5th & Taylor. This St. Ann’s and 5th & Taylor wedding was the perfect finale to my Fall ’25 wedding schedule.
Getting Ready in Music Row
All was done in stylish black and white, one of the most beautiful and classic wedding color pallets.
Ambra grew up running around the licensing firm on Music Row where her stepfather works. It was the perfect backdrop for everyone getting ready with it’s beautiful staircase, historic photographs, and inspiring décor, (not to mention the Nashville skyline rooftop view). This wedding was so full of Nashville character and intentional Catholic details.
I got to be on my flash for most of the getting ready process. This paired SO WELL with the vibes of this location and the glamour of their black and white wedding. Even the documentary portraits and candids got that edgy editorial “paparazzi” look that I absolutely love.
St. Ann’s Catholic Church Wedding Mass
After they got ready, we moved to St. Ann’s for their beautiful Nuptial Mass. The ever-changing light at St. Ann’s is always a fun creative challenge for me. When they walked down the aisle (usually a tricky spot in Catholic Wedding Photography)? *chef’s kiss*
November Catholic Wedding Portraits
We used the last little bit of moody November lighting to get some portraits around the beautiful archways and courtyards of this parish where they got engaged.
Downtown Nashville 5th and Taylor Reception
Then we moved downtown to 5th & Taylor for speeches, cake, a family-style dinner, and later, dancing.
It is always the biggest honor working in and celebrating my hometown while also capturing the beauty in the sacrament of Matrimony. I LOVE Nashville. I LOVE Catholic weddings. This St. Ann’s and 5th and Taylor wedding was the perfect combination.
