Holy Spirit Huntsville Catholic Wedding | Evelyn & Michael

August 24, 2025

Evie and Michael got married with a Huntsville Catholic Wedding on the most beautiful warm June day at Holy Spirit Catholic church. It was such a joy to photograph their beautiful sacrament day and celebrate with all their friends and family. This couple is loved on by such an amazing community. Our team was honored to be a small piece of such a loving, joyful, and grace-filled day.

We just love getting down to Alabama. The ladies got ready at Evie’s home and goodness, isn’t that always one of the best parts of the wedding day? Everybody excitedly doing their hair and makeup. Jumping up and down with the bride. Finishing bouquets. It’s always an honor when the bride invites me into her home for a more intimate start to the wedding morning.

We moved over to the church where Evie finished getting dressed. She shared a tearful moment with her grandmother and spent some last joyful and prayerful moments with her bridesmaids.

We got a few portraits of Michael and his groomsmen and then finished preparing for Mass.

As the bridal party got into place, all the wedding guests knelt and prayed a rosary out loud for the Michael and Evie and it was so special.

Their wedding Mass was beautiful. Holy Spirit Catholic Church has some gorgeous lighting and colors. The community that stood behind Evie and Michael (literally) was so strong and supportive. I absolutely love home parish weddings. Weddings that take place at home are just so meaningful and laced with intention.

They shared a tender moment with Evie’s parents when they walked by to pick up the bouquet they dedicated to Mary after Communion.

After Mass and family portraits, all the guests left for the reception, Evie and Michael took a rest, and then we took couple’s portraits around the church.

We moved to the reception venue and wrapped up some fun bridal party group shots and more portraits. Then we partied! It was so hot out, they cut the cake right away before it could melt. There were outdoor games for the kiddos and at least five different toasts.

Before we left, we got to see the whole group line dance and let me tell you, I have NEVER seen such a large group coordinate so well for a dance.

Evie, Michael, congratulations you guys. We loved getting to capture your beautiful sacrament day and your amazing community.
