Getting to meet Courtney and Justin was such a bright spot during a very busy May photography weekend! I absolutely LOVE working with my wedding clients to plan out an engagement session that will be fun, relaxed, and of course, beautiful.
They wanted to practice some wedding posing, I wanted to hear about their beautiful Huntsville Catholic wedding this November (and of course take some great portraits of them.) The variable was, we had one very specific afternoon to do this while they were in town from Houston, TX and it rained most of the day leading up to the session.

Not a cute sun shower drizzle kind of rain, a muddy gray downpour. Yikes.
BUT. The three of us showed up anyway and the weather cleared up actual seconds before we started taking photos. The best part is, right after the rain is the perfect time to do a Centennial Park session.

Full disclosure: this is a location that I have to prep my clients for ahead of time: Centennial Park will be busy, there will be other photographers with clients, certain spots may get crowded. If you are willing to brave it though, it is so so worth the crowds.

This warning was unnecessary that day. The trees were lush and green, we had my favorite diffused lighting, and I had so much fun getting to know them a little more.

I can’t wait to see them again this November at their beautiful wedding at St. Mary’s of the Visitation in downtown Huntsville, AL.
